This book is great. I’ve been doing a lot of work on self development over the past few years, including qualifying as an NLP Practitioner in September of 2011, so most of the content in the book I was aware of and some I had even already been working on. But even so Phil Parker covered the content in such a way that there was still many learnings to be had. If you came to this book with no knowledge of the questions or techniques inside then it could be quite a life changing read for you - especially if you actually do the exercises it suggests (you know what they say about a gym membership only being the first step - the getting fit requires actually going to the gym! Same principle here).

Would I recommend it to others? Absolutely. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to take greater control of their life and/or their emotions. The questions it asks help you overcome negativity and find a way to move positively through life. If we all followed these questions the world would be a nicer place. I would also recommend it to anyone interested in NLP as it covers some of the techniques in interesting and accessible ways and certainly for me has been another step in integrating the learning.
